Suspects Accused of Murder in Robbery of Air Jordans

A Harris County man appeared in court on Wednesday morning and heard the criminal charges against him after he allegedly killed another man over a pair of Air Jordan shoes.

Anthony Wade, 19, and his co-defendants, Neal Bland, 18, and Kegan Arrington, 19, face capital murder accusations.

Joshua Wood, 22, was shot on Dec. 21 as he tried to flee from the alleged thieves. The suspects supposedly wanted the newly released pair of Air Jordan sneakers that the victim had.

Wood drove off in his vehicle after he was shot. He soon crashed between two houses and hit a gas line.

Houston-area residents who are charged with capital murder should speak to an attorney at The Law Office of Matthew D. Sharp today at 713-868-6100.
