Over 1,000 marijuana plants were discovered near Ennis on Tuesday by Ellis County Sheriff’s Office.
The plants, ranging from 10 to 14 feet tall, were discovered during a routine flyover. The estimated street value of the plants is said to be over $500,000.
The plants have been moved to a secure location where they will be processed and weighed for prosecution purposes.
