Klein ISD Students’ Vandalism Causes $20K in Damage

Four Klein ISD students have been accused of vandalizing numerous homes and vehicles in the Spring area.

During their Thanksgiving break, the 17 and 18-year-old students drove through 11 subdivisions and caused about $20,000 in damage. They each may be punished with six months to two years in confinement and mandatory restitution.

The teens told police that they mostly targeted the property of students they do not like. In a few cases, they defaced vehicles that they found appealing.

Investigators say that the group used rocks, bricks, baseball equipment and potted plants to damage the victims’ belongings. About 50 homes and cars were vandalized during the rampage.
