A police officer in New York City is accused of wanting to murder and eat women.
According to federal prosecutors, Gilberto Valle, 28, told an online acquaintance from India that his wife is 25-years-old, 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs 140 pounds.
When Valle revealed that his wife is vegetarian, the other man told him her meat would be “lower quality.”
The defendant is charged with plotting to abduct, rape, kill and eat other human beings. His defense attorneys allege that he was only visualizing the acts in his head and had no intentions to harm anyone.
