In Liberty, TX a man has pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting an 11-year-old girl and is working with prosecutors for a reduced sentence.
Marcus Porchia’s guilty plea is the second among 14 adults charged in the case. Porchia’s original sentence had been life in prison and now receiving 15 years for cooperating with prosecutors to convict the other 14 males.
Authorities say that the 14-year-old girl was sexually assaulted a minimum of 5 times by males ranging in age from middle school to 28-years-old.
Five of the six juveniles have plead guilty who were charged in the case.
