A man who was arrested for a fatal shooting at a Houston girl’s 16th birthday party will appear in court on Monday.
The crime happened on Sunday in North Houston. Johnny Benavidez and some friends showed up to the party uninvited. When they were asked to leave, a fight broke out. Benavidez and his buddies eventually left, but they later returned with a gun. The birthday girl’s brother was shot dead.
Benavidez’s bond is set at $100,000.
