A man who is accused of burning down a feed store last week was in court on Monday to hear the charges against him.
Ernesto Turrubiartes, 43, was on parole for his third DWI conviction when authorities say he set fire to the store in northeast Harris County. The alleged incident occurred on Thursday. Witnesses said they saw a man with a red container.
Several animals on the property perished in the blaze.
