Police Shoot Robbery Suspect in Northeast Houston

Two police officers opened fire on a robbery suspect at a business in northeast Houston, according to officials.

According to police, several men held up a Cash Loans and Car Titles off of Uvalde around 4:30 p.m. Thursday.

The police arrived to find three armed men.  One of the suspects was arrested immediately but the officers ended up shooting another suspect.

The wounded suspect was rushed to Ben Taub hospital with a non-life-threatening injury.  The third suspect was taken into custody, according to police.

The two deputies were not injured in the shooting.
