Police Find Brick of Cocaine During Routine Traffic Stop

$50,000 worth of cocaine was seized last week in Caldwell County after a routine traffic stop.

A deputy from Caldwell County sheriff’s office pulled 23-year-old Brittany Hall over for a traffic violation on August 21.

According to the Sheriff’s office, Hall gave the deputy consent to search her car. The deputy found a brick of cocaine hidden beneath one of the car seats that valued $50,000.

Hall denied knowledge that the cocaine was in the car. She was recently released from jail on a $40,000 bond.

The investigation is on-going and more arrests are expected to follow.
