A woman was arrested on Tuesday morning for stealing her own vehicle from a tow lot in north Houston.
Her car was towed after she illegally parked at an apartment complex. Authorities tracked her down at 3:30, about an hour after the supposed theft occurred. She allegedly told employees at the lot that she needed to retrieve her purse from the vehicle. She then climbed into the driver’s seat and drive off. The suspect faces charges of auto theft and possibly driving while intoxicated (DWI).
