Two Houston-area men were taken into police custody on Friday after the Fort Bend County Narcotics Task Force found marijuana growing inside their Sugar Land residence.
A SWAT team and the Task Force agents delivered a search warrant after a month-long investigation. The group discovered a total of 206 marijuana plants in five rooms of the home. There were also growing lights, water pumps, weighing instruments, fans and other equipment for marijuana growth and manufacture.
Dong Tien Nguyen, 40, and Duyet Nguyen, 41, are facing first-degree felony charges for the possession of marijuana. The seized plants reportedly have a combined value of about $824,000.
Both men are out on $50,000 bond.
