Famed actor Tom Hanks is one of four alleged victims of a major fraud conspiracy.
Jerry B. Goldman, 59, is an insurance agent in Thousand Oaks, Calif. who was arrested on Nov. 7 and indicted for federal mail fraud.
Goldman is charged with overbilling his clients for more than $800,000. At times, he overcharged for his services by as much as 600 percent. Goldman’s fraudulent scheme supposedly lasted from 1998 to 2011.
