A Houston man is accused of purchasing vast quantities of prescription medication from over 20 different pharmacies in a period of three months.
James Campbell, 57, is charged with fraudulent possession of a controlled substance. From May 5 to July 31, he had 71 prescriptions filled at 25 pharmacies. He owned 4,165 hydrocodone pills and 2,760 carisoprodol pills, according to court documents.
