Two men who live in northwest Harris County have been charged with possessing child pornography.
Police raided an apartment in the neighborhood of Jersey Village on Aug. 17, where they found a computer with hundreds of sexually-explicit photographs and videos of young male children. Detectives started to investigate the case in June. They revealed that the accused had acquired the content from a peer-to-peer file sharing program. Police were able to locate the men’s home through their Internet service provider address.
One of the men, Christopher Duncan, 38, admitted to police that he had searched for and downloaded the content. His boyfriend, William Burklund, 20, said he knew about the files and viewed a few of them out of curiosity, but he had failed to tell authorities.
Duncan was charged with three counts of child pornography, while Burklund was charged with two. A $20,000 bail was set for each.
