Harris County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a registered sex offender who allegedly sexually assaulted a 16-year-old girl.
48-year-old Patrick Earvin was charged with sexual assault of a child under 17 years of age.
The victim told police that Earvin would pick her up from school and take her to a hotel. Earvin allegedly asked her to do sexual acts in exchange for food, clothing and other items.
Police became suspicious of Earvin after they pulled his van over and found the girl inside. A background check revealed that Earvin was a registered sex offender along with a list of other criminal convicitons.
